The Challenge

The Solution
My Corporate Expressions created a customized, campaign-themed pillow case. They used international suppliers to deliver a campaign themed gift for less than the cost of a plain, domestically sourced linen.

The Opportunity
BHP Billiton needed an engaging stadium giveaway for the Liberty White Game that they were sponsoring to kick off the Texans season. They came to My Corporate Expressions to find a budget friendly new product to drive fan engagement and get visual impact from the promotion.   

The Challenge
With less than $1 per item My Corporate Expressions needed to find and produce a product that was not only affordable, but one that fans would actively use at the game while meeting a strict sponsorship criteria of the NFL. The product also needed to clearly display the BHP Billiton logo.

The Solution
My Corporate Expressions sourced the Rollabanna, a fun retractable double-handled banner at less than $1 per unit, to produce for their sponsor come the next big game.

The Result
The Rollabanna was such a hit that it became one of the Houston Texans most successful stadium giveaways all season. Since this initial successful promotion, other sponsors have jumped at this opportunity to put their logo in the fans’ hands on full display and have loved the residual value the Rollabanna offers as fans keep the product and bring it back game after game.

Brake Check needed a traffic driver. My Corporate Expressions put the pedal to the metal and got customers in the door for oil change services.

The Opportunity
Brake Check came to My Corporate Expressions seeking a stadium giveaway idea that would not only promote the brand, but drive customers in the door for an oil change.

The Challenge
After reviewing the benefits of several different types of products, Brake Check settled on fun foam footballs. The challenge was that NFL regulations prohibit distributing promotional items that could be used as projectiles before or during a football game.

The Solution
My Corporate Expressions worked with Brake Check and the Houston Texans to create a foam football to distribute as fans were leaving the game. The foam football could be redeemed for 50% off an oil change at any Brake Check location.

The Result
By distributing the football after the game, Brake Check found fans were more likely to retain the product, resulting in a great redemption rate.

BMW was looking to maximize impact in their valet driving service. My Corporate Expressions delivered an innovative and memorable product that is still in demand.

The Opportunity
As a major sponsor of the Houston Texans, BMW sponsors a valet car service on game days. The brand was looking to enhance their sponsorship and create brand awareness among stadium suite holders.

The Challenge
The brand was already using embroidered shirts and hats as a part of their valet sponsorship, but they needed a way to maximize their impact with a kind of value-added product or service for Houston Texans suite holders. BMW wanted a memorable and useful gift would help reinforce the image and brand.

The Solution
The marketing team had an idea to leave a surprise valet keychain gift on the console of all the cars that were parked by the valet service. Produced by My Corporate Expressions, the gift-boxed keychains included the Houston Texans logo on one side and a BMW logo on the other.

The Result
The keychains were a touchdown with customers. They turned out to have such appeal that additional orders were created so the keychains could be given out at all the BMW dealerships in the Houston area whenever a BMW was purchased. It was a successful co-branding campaign that enhanced the image of both the brand and the team.

Promotional Challenge Flags Bring Customers Back to Activation Areas

First Community Credit Union

The Opportunity
First Community Credit Union needed a campaign to bring customers back to their activation area within the Houston Texans stadium for each home game.

The Challenge
The products needed to be easy to transport in bulk, usable at the game and under $2.00 per unit to produce. The client also was looking for a way to drive customers back during each home game to engage with the brand.

The Solution
My Corporate Expressions brainstormed products that kept customers coming back week after week and helped the client create a campaign tie-in that revolved around the NFL game day challenge flag and their phrase “Let FCCU challenge your…”. Each game week, FCCU would feature a different banking product or service and suggest fans challenge their current financial institution to beat FCCU. My Corporate Expressions created a collectible series of full-color microfiber cloth challenge flags with a different challenge on each.

The Result
The item was highly successful, met NFL regulations of giveaways and drove current and potential customers to the FCCU activation area week after week.

With little time to make a new product before game day, Comcast scored with My Corporate Expressions speedy strategies.

Comcast

The Opportunity
Comcast was given the exciting opportunity for a full-stadium giveaway on Hispanic Heritage Day and planned on creating flags to commemorate the day and to promote the new Xfinity cable service they had recently launched.

The Challenge
The team at Comcast was sitting on a delivery of flags that arrived with the wrong colors and incorrect graphics from another supplier and a stadium giveaway was scheduled only three weeks away. Comcast had nothing to give fans on Hispanic Heritage Day. The Houston Texans pointed the team to My Corporate Expressions to find products that were within budget, could be delivered on time and would go over well with fans.

The Solution
By offering Comcast a variety of possible options that could be used for their stadium giveaway and having samples overnighted to them, Comcast chose to go with a full color bandana. Within a 3-week period, MCE was able to source, produce, and deliver 50,000 bandanas to the stadium.

The Result
The bandanas won fans over on game day and were so popular that it was used as a giveaway for two successive years. The product was printed correctly, delivered on time and helped promote Comcast’s commitment to sponsorship.

Crystal Wine Stopper

The Opportunity
The Houston Super Bowl LI Host Committee was hosting a Luminaries of the Game gala event honoring Bob and Janice McNair, owners of the Houston Texans. The event would be filled with high profile guests including NFL executives, Houston business and social leaders, and Hall of Fame football players. The committee wanted an impressive, executive level commemorative gift for each attendee and an additional thank you gift for the 50 Hall of Fame players.

The Challenge
The item needed to be portable so guests would easily and happily take the gifts home to appreciate and use. The commemorative gift had a maximum budget of $15.00 per attendee and both products needed to be delivered in under a week.

The Solution
My Corporate Expressions suggested, sourced and delivered crystal wine stoppers with the Super Bowl Committee logo laser engraved in 3D for gala guests and 100% top grain leather duffel bags with the Super Bowl Committee logo subtlety debossed for the players.

The Result
Attendees loved the commemorative wine stoppers and players could be seen heading to the airport with the enviable leather duffle bags filled and in tow. Both were delivered on budget in less than a week. Many of the former players used the bags to carry back all the gifts that they had received at all of the festivities during Super Bowl LI.
